Seminaries Chief Visits Grand Ayatollah Fayyadh's Residence, Recounts Legacy of Iraq's Revered Jurist

The head of Iran's Islamic seminaries has visited the residence of the late Grand Ayatollah Ishaq Fayyadh, one of Iraq's most senior sources of emulation, to pay his respects to the lofty station of Marjaiyyah and offer prayers for the departed scholar.

Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, continuing his visit to Iraq, attended the home of the late Grand Ayatollah Fayyadh, where he recited Fatiha in honor of the revered religious authority.

Following the tribute, the seminaries chief sat down with Hojatoleslam Mahmoud Fayyadh, the eldest son of the late jurist, to offer his condolences and recount memories of the departed source of emulation.

Ayatollah Arafi went on to highlight the scholarly stature of the late Grand Ayatollah Fayyadh, reflecting on his advanced-level jurisprudence classes and outlining a portion of the social services he rendered throughout his blessed lifetime.

The head of Iran's seminaries then proceeded to the burial site of the late jurist, who was laid to rest within his own residence according to his will, where he once again recited Fatiha in his honor.
