Hawzah News Agency- New York Mayor Zahran Mamdani, describing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a "war criminal," announced that he is considering legal avenues to arrest him if he enters New York City.
In an interview with The New York Times, Zahran Mamdani emphasized the need to try the Israeli Prime Minister at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague. He stated that Netanyahu's true place is to be tried in international courts.
Referring to the cases at the International Criminal Court, Mamdani added: “Netanyahu is wanted by the International Criminal Court, and many people in the world agree that he is a war criminal, based on the actions and crimes he has committed in recent years.”
The New York mayor also stated that he is consulting with legal experts to review and determine the legal authority and jurisdiction necessary to execute the warrant for his arrest if Netanyahu travels to New York.
