Islamic movement Holds Solidarity March in Suleja After 37th Annual Imam’s Week

Followers of the Islamic movement under the distinguished leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Yaqoub El-Zakzaky on Wednesday the 3rd of June, 2026 took to the streets of Suleja, Niger State, in a peaceful solidarity march immediately after the conclusion of the 37th Annual Imam’s Week.

Hawzah News Agency- The procession was organized to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, whose legacy continues to inspire millions of people around the world.

Demonstrators marched through a major street of Suleja carrying banners and placards expressing support for the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Palestinian people, and other global resistance axis. The demonstrators chanted slogans advocating justice, self-determination, and opposition to oppression.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Fatima Isma’il and Sheikh Ishaq Sabo Misau stated that the annual gathering serves as an opportunity to reflect on the ideals of Imam Khomeini, particularly his commitment to resistance against injustice and his support for oppressed communities worldwide.

The demonstrators also reaffirmed their loyalty to the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and emphasized the importance of unity among Muslims and freedom-seeking people across the globe.

The march concluded peacefully, with participants reiterating their solidarity with Iran, Palestine, and other resistance movements while calling for global peace, justice, and respect for the rights of oppressed peoples.

The 37th Annual Imam’s Week featured a series of religious lectures, educational sessions, and commemorative activities aimed at highlighting the life, teachings, and enduring influence of Imam Khomeini.
