Chris Christie, former governor of New Jersey: "The president is playing checkers, not chess. He thought this would be like Venezuela. Iran is not Venezuela. If we come out of this situation and end up with Iran strategically stronger, Iran knows it can close the strait at any time and paralyze the global economy. That would be a geopolitical failure on a massive scale".
