Hawzah News Agency- Before the match at Barcelona's RCDE Stadium, a warning message against xenophobic remarks and offensive singing was displayed on the screen. The message was repeated early in the second half, drawing whistles from some sections of the crowd.
The RFEF condemned the anti-Muslim chants, while Spain coach Luis de la Fuente called them "intolerable'', stating that "violent people use football to carve out a space for themselves''.
"FIFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against the Spanish FA for the incidents in the friendly against Egypt'', a FIFA statement confirmed.
