Hawzah News Agency- In a letter addressed to leading Islamic bodies including Al-Azhar, the International Union of Muslim Scholars, the Islamic Jurisprudence Council, as well as scholarly institutions in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Lebanon, Iraq, and Algeria, the scholars issued their statement on the eve of the blessed Eid al-Fitr.

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
This cowardly act is not merely an attack on the nation of Iran, but a blatant insult to the dignity of the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the sacred values of dear Islam.
The Sunni scholars of Iran call upon the religious leaders and institutions of the Islamic world to adopt a unified and decisive position in condemning this crime and to issue a fatwa of jihad against the Zionist regime and global arrogance in defense of the Islamic Ummah.
The message emphasized: "Defense of the dignity of the Islamic Ummah and the pure blood of religious leaders is a divine duty, and the unity of scholars can form a strong barrier against the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam."
In conclusion, the scholars beseeched God Almighty to bring the hearts of the faithful closer together, to keep the Islamic Ummah steadfast on the path of truth, and to disgrace the oppressors on His earth.
The letter reflects the unified stance of Iran's religious leadership across all schools of thought in the face of foreign aggression, underscoring the deep national and religious solidarity that transcends sectarian lines in defense of the Islamic establishment.
