Hawzah News Agency- In a statement issued in Tehran, the organization denounced the deadly attack on the Khadija al-Kubra (peace be upon her) Mosque in the Tarlai area of Islamabad, where a suicide bombing during Friday prayers resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a large number of followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
The statement described the attack as a blatant, criminal, and inhumane act, stating that it once again exposed the true nature of Takfiri terrorism and its hidden sponsors. According to the organization, such crimes reveal the brutality of a form of “managed terrorism” backed by hostile intelligence services and supported by Zionist and Western sources, whose aim is to sow division, insecurity, and bloodshed in the Muslim world.
“This heinous act has once again laid bare the savagery and moral bankruptcy of Takfiri terrorism and the foreign-backed networks that fuel it,” the statement said, adding that targeting worshippers during prayer is a clear violation of all religious, moral, and human principles.
The Islamic Culture and Relations Organization extended its condolences to the entire Islamic Ummah, as well as to the families of the martyrs and the Muslim brothers and sisters of Pakistan. It prayed for divine mercy and forgiveness for those martyred in the attack and for the swift and complete recovery of the injured.
Reaffirming its firm stance against all forms of extremism and terrorism, the organization emphasized the need for unity, vigilance, and collective action among Muslim nations to confront Takfiri violence and its external sponsors.
The statement concluded by stressing that such acts of terror will not weaken the resolve of the Muslim Ummah and that the enemies of Islam and humanity will ultimately fail in their attempts to destabilize Muslim societies through violence and fear.
