Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, a special representative of the Pakistani prime minister for coordinating religious harmony and diaspora in the Middle East and Muslim countries, harshly reacted to Netanyahu's rhetoric and threats on Wednesday.
"Iran has responded to Israeli aggression before and will defend itself in the event of any further military adventurism," he noted, emphasizing that the whole Islamic world supports the right of the Islamic Republic to defend itself.
Ashrafi, who is also the Chairman of the Ulema Mashaikh Council, also addressed other regional developments, including in Yemen and Palestine, as well as Israeli plots against some states.
Stressing the need for a peaceful resolution of the issues and challenges faced by Yemen, Ashrafi also expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and called for a united front to support Gaza in the face of the ongoing Israeli genocide there.
Separately, he condemned the Israeli regime's move to recognize Somaliland, warning that Israel's illegitimate action against the national sovereignty of the Republic of Somalia is a threat to global peace and security.
