Lebanese Parliament Deputy: Martyr Soleimani Embodies the Spirit of Regional Resistance

Deputy Political Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Ali Hassan Khalil, has praised the legacy of Martyr General Qassim Soleimani, describing the Resistance leader’s struggle as a powerful and enduring symbol for nations confronting occupation and domination across the region.

Hawzah News Agency- Khalil made the remarks during a visit to the Panorama of Martyr Soleimani’s Resistance, part of the National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense, where he was accompanied by the museum’s director, General Amirian.

During the tour, Khalil was briefed on various sections depicting the regional resistance narrative and examined up close how the struggles of multiple nations — and Martyr Soleimani’s central role within them — are portrayed through detailed and documented representations.

“What I witnessed in this panorama is an accurate and inspiring image of the resistance of the nations of the region,” Khalil said. “This collection shows how the thoughts and actions of Martyr General Qassim Soleimani infused new energy into the Axis of Resistance.”

He emphasized that such narratives are essential for future generations, as they present the reality of resistance against oppression and occupation “in a clear, honest, and documented manner.”

“Lebanon stands with Iran and the Resistance Front”

Reaffirming Lebanon’s historic alignment with Iran and the regional Resistance Front, Khalil said the Lebanese nation has always considered itself on the same side as the Iranian people, adding that these bonds are rooted in shared faith, common ideals, and collective sacrifices.

The Panorama of Martyr Soleimani’s Resistance — a prominent section of the National Museum — is designed around the narrative of confronting global hegemony and embodies the principles of the Islamic Revolution. Alongside recounting the history of the Islamic Revolution and the eight-year Sacred Defense, the exhibition documents resistance movements across the world, offering what Khalil described as a “realistic, evidence-based, and inspirational portrayal” of the struggles of regional nations.
