8th International Solidarity Summit with Palestinian Children to Be Held in Tehran

Tehran – The 8th International Solidarity Summit with Palestinian Children, commemorating Martyr Muhammad al-Durrah, the Martyr Children of Gaza, and the 12-Day Sacred Defense, will be held on Sunday, October 10, at the Summit Hall.

Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, Chairman of the Committee for Supporting the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People, outlined the summit’s goals at a press conference, emphasizing the need to amplify the voices of oppressed peoples worldwide and foster unity among freedom-seekers.

Highlighting the achievements of Operation Storm of Al-Aqsa, Akhtari stated that despite attempts to undermine resistance, the movement has significantly weakened the Zionist regime, which remains mired in crises. He stressed that the steadfast Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, continue to resist under severe blockade and hardships, marking a “great victory” for the resistance.

Hojatoleslam Akhtari also praised activists of the Global Fleet of Resistance for their efforts to break Gaza’s siege, calling their work a historic demonstration of international solidarity.

The summit will host participants from 32 countries and about 100 foreign guests, with four specialized commissions focusing on politics and law, media and cyberspace, women and children, and NGO cooperation. Side programs include student gatherings, visits to historical sites, and tours of areas affected by the 12-day war.

“The summit aims to showcase global unity and solidarity in defending the oppressed people of Palestine, reflecting the steadfastness and support of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Akhtari concluded.
