Islamic Humanities Conference to be held in Kabul in October

Qom – Officials of the International Islamic Humanities Conference announced that the Afghanistan section of the event will be held on Wednesday, October 1, at Al-Mustafa University in Kabul.

Hawzah News Agency-The announcement was made during a press conference at the Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute (RA) in Qom, supported by the Supreme Council for the Cultural Revolution.

Hojatoleslam Qasem Ebrahimipour, Deputy Director of Research at the institute, said January 2 has been designated as the National Day of Islamic Humanities and commemoration of the late Ayatollah Misbah Yazdi (RA), describing it as an opportunity for dialogue between scholars and students. He noted that such exchanges, both within the Islamic world and with Western thinkers, have historically enriched scientific progress.

Ebrahimipour stated that the conference, which was held nationally last year, has now gained international status and has been registered in the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC). He added that more than 150 research papers have already been submitted, with Afghanistan contributing a significant number of articles.
