Hawzah News Agency- In a statement analyzing the broader impact of the confrontation, Ayatollah Kabi emphasized the civilizational, social, and strategic dimensions of a historic episode for the Iranian nation.
“The recent direct attack on Iran by the Zionist regime and the United States was not merely military—it was part of a larger ‘civilizational elimination’ project,” Ayatollah Kabi said. “Their goal was to destroy Iran’s cultural identity, historical depth, and national integrity.”
He described the current ceasefire as “fragile,” warning that if Israel or the United States launch another aggression, Iran’s response would be “stronger than before.”
National Unity and Civilizational Defense
Highlighting the internal impact of the war, Ayatollah Kabi praised the Iranian people’s unified response across ethnic, political, and ideological lines. “The remarkable presence of all segments of society on the national stage was a clear and powerful symbol of unity. This unprecedented solidarity reflects the emergence of a civilizational consciousness—an awakening rooted in Iran’s ancient heritage and cultural strength.”
He argued that the Iranian public widely perceived the assault as an effort by Western powers and international Zionism to “plunder” Iran’s civilizational wealth and undermine its identity. “In the face of this threat, the people rose to defend their honor, culture, and national dignity. This was more than a military response—it was a civilizational uprising,” he said.
Lessons from the 12-Day War
Ayatollah Kabi pointed to the war's deeper implications, arguing that it solidified Iran’s position as an emerging civilizational power. “This conflict yielded both material and spiritual achievements. If we recognize and preserve these gains, the Islamic Republic will continue to advance on the path of becoming a global civilizational force,” he noted.
Reflecting on the broader historical context, Ayatollah Kabi said Western efforts to weaken Iran began long before the Islamic Revolution but intensified afterward. “For 46 years, they have attempted various strategies. One was ‘civilizational digestion’—trying to absorb Iran into the Western orbit. But our nation, under the leadership of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader, has resisted. We have declared to the world that we are a proud, independent, and civilized nation determined to build our future on our own terms.”
Ayatollah Kabi concluded by calling for vigilance and continued resistance, stating that the latest conflict should be remembered not just as a geopolitical struggle, but as a defining moment in Iran’s modern civilizational identity
