Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at a gathering with staff, professors, and scholars of the Imam Khomeini Institute (RA), Ayatollah Kabi described recent developments as a critical moment in Iran’s ongoing resistance against foreign conspiracies.
Avoid Polarization, Uphold National Unity
Ayatollah Kabi stressed that any form of political or social bipolarization must be firmly avoided, echoing the Supreme Leader’s guidance that all discourse and responses must strengthen—not weaken—national unity. “Today, the Iranian nation’s foremost responsibility is to continue the struggle on this path,” he said.
Enemy Plot Foiled in Early Stages
Describing the recent war against the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Kabi referred to a failed multi-phase enemy operation aimed at toppling the Iranian government. “Their plan consisted of four stages,” he explained. “First, the elimination of scientific elites and military commanders; second, targeting security and law enforcement centers; third, assassinating 570 key political and military figures; and finally, using criminals and border networks to occupy administrative centers and declare the collapse of the system. They even had plans to divide Iran into seven separate regions.”
He attributed the defeat of this plan to divine intervention, the strategic leadership of the Supreme Leader, and the unity of the Iranian people. “Despite maximum pressure and extremely difficult conditions, the Supreme Leader took full control, appointed new commanders, and led the response with wisdom and courage,” Kabi stated.
Missile Response and Regional Impact
Ayatollah Kabi highlighted Iran’s recent missile operation, which took the Zionist regime by surprise. “The missiles struck sensitive enemy targets with unprecedented accuracy. This operation shattered their assumptions, as they expected only a fraction to be effective.”
He added that the destruction of a significant portion of the Al-Udeid Air Base, the largest U.S. airbase in the region, marked a turning point. “This showed that the enemy’s attempts to reshape the region’s geopolitical landscape have failed,” he asserted.
Zionist Regime Suffered Strategic Defeat
He noted that the Zionist regime, in collaboration with the United States, failed to achieve its strategic goals. “Despite inflicting damage, they could not weaken Iran’s foundations or demoralize the nation. Instead, this resistance revitalized national identity and strengthened public unity,” he said.
According to Ayatollah Kabi, the Zionist regime continues to seek opportunities to strike Iran, using evaluation committees based on lessons from the 33-day war. However, their continued aggression has only led to further setbacks.
Economic Warfare and Psychological Operations
Referring to psychological and economic pressures, Ayatollah Kabi said the enemies believed that sanctions and internal unrest would exhaust the Iranian people and pave the way for regime change. “They hoped to enter Iran under the guise of a ‘savior,’ just as some groups did in Syria’s Damascus,” he warned.
Call to Protect Unity and Resist Division
In conclusion, he reaffirmed the need to protect national unity in the face of foreign plots. “The enemy has failed to reach its goals. Our strength lies in our unity. As the Supreme Leader has stressed, all responses must be measured and aimed at preserving the integrity and solidarity of the nation,” Ayatollah Kabi said.
