Hawzah News Agency- QOM, Iran — In a continuation of its acts of aggression, the Zionist regime carried out a missile strike on a residential building in the Salarieh district of Qom early this morning, resulting in the martyrdom of two individuals and injuries to four others, local officials confirmed.
According to Morteza Heydari, spokesman for the Qom provincial administration, the strike targeted the fourth floor of a residential structure, causing significant destruction and civilian casualties.
"Tragically, a 16-year-old teenager lost his life in this terrorist attack, and two others were seriously wounded and rushed to nearby medical centers," Heydari stated in an interview with the Hawzah News Agency. He later confirmed the total number of casualties has reached two martyrs and four injured as of the latest update.
Heydari, who also serves as Deputy for Political and Security Affairs of the Qom Governorate, noted that the full details of the incident are currently under investigation and will be shared with the public as soon as they are verified.
Authorities have urged residents to remain calm and avoid gathering at the site to allow emergency teams to carry out their operations safely and efficiently.
"This criminal act will not go unanswered," a local official added anonymously, reflecting the outrage and grief felt throughout the city.
