Hawzah News Agency- the deputy of the Bahraini Islamic Unity Party Sheikh Hussein Al-Dihi has reacted to the five-year prison sentence issued against him, saying, "This verdict is a badge of honor; I am proud because of my political position and I sympathize with my compatriots who stand against oppression and tyranny."

In a post on the social network X (formerly Twitter), he announced, "I have been informed that a Bahraini court has issued a verdict against me, without me knowing the essence of the charges or their details, and I have no connection with the main defendant in this case."

Emphasizing that this ruling is a "cover-up judgment" that reinforces submission to the demands of power and revenge against opponents, Hujjat al-Islam al-Dihi stated, "This behavior is not considered abnormal since the judiciary in Bahrain is not independent."
