The Foreign Minister of Pakistan assured his Iranian counterpart that Islamabad supports Tehran's request to hold an extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation following the assassination of Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and that the Pakistani delegation would actively participate in that meeting.

Hawzah News Agency- Pakistan's foreign minister assured his Iranian counterpart that Islamabad supports Tehran's request to hold an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation following the assassination of Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on Wednesday, and that the Pakistani delegation will actively participate in that meeting.

In a phone call with Ali Bagheri Kenny, Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Senator Mohammad Ishaq has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Tehran that led to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas movement, and the continuation of Israel's crimes in Gaza.

The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan reads,” The Acting Foreign Minister of Iran invited the Foreign Minister of Pakistan to participate in the extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which was welcomed by the Pakistani side.
