Hawzah News Agency- Secretary of the Supreme Council of Seminaries Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri issued a condolence message following the passing of Ayatollah Seyyed Abdul Karim Qazvini, the text of which is as follows:

To God we belong and to Him we return

The passing away of Ayatollah Seyyed Abd al-Karim Qazvini, may God's mercy be upon him, caused grief and sorrow.

That respected jurist was engaged in teaching and writing in Islamic sciences for many years, and in addition to jurisprudence and teaching in seminaries, he had extensive social activities in the field of establishing seminaries and charity centers.

I offer my condolences to the seminaries of Iran and Iraq and the bereaved family. I also pray to Almighty God for that pious scholar and ask for patience for the survivors.
