Hawzah News Agency- Chairman of Pakistan Muslim Unity Council Hujjat al-Islam Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari had a press conference during which he referred to the alarming situation of Parachinar in Pakistan, saying, "Opening the roads to Parachinar is the responsibility of the officials who must fulfill their duties, otherwise we will march from Islamabad to Parachinar and call for protests throughout the country.”
He said in this press conference, "The most sensitive area in terms of defensive strategies has been given to anti-national elements. Previously, during the Zia-ul-Haq era, the people of this area were expelled and terrorist groups settled there. Since then, Parachinar has been controlled by armed groups.”
The Chairman of the Muslim Unity Council further noted, “We also met with the Prime Minister in this regard, the primary responsibility of the government is to protect the lives and property of the people, but the problems of Parachinar have not been solved so far.”
He clarified,” It seems that the central government is defeated and helpless, government institutions must fulfill their responsibilities, the people there have been handed over to a group of terrorists; the educated people there want to live in peace.”
But no one has paid attention to this dire situation, meetings have been held, but there’s no result, our voice is for the oppressed people and not for any ruler or government.
He further said that if the roads are not opened, they will protest all over Pakistan, people all over the country and abroad should be ready, we demand demonstrations.
Attacks against passenger cars, foreign interventions and blockades have increased. If these problems are to be solved, it is an hour's work.
Hujjat al-Islam Rajah Nasser Abbas expressed his concerns saying, “This dire situation is unbearable and the officials must respond to it, the problems have increased day by day due to the closure of the roads in the last fifteen days there has been a shortage of goods and medicine.”
It is worth mentioning that the roads that connect Parachinar to other parts of Pakistan have been completely closed for 15 days, that's why the people of Parachinar are facing a shortage of food, medicine, etc.
