At the beginning of this meeting, Iran's ambassador to Tanzania Hussein Alwandi offered his condolences on the occasion of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi and his accompanying delegation, and emphasized the central role of Tanzania in the East African region, elaborating on a key port that connects several countries through this medium.

Stating that the historical and cultural relations between Iran and Tanzania have a long lasting history and this has caused many Iranians to immigrate to this country since ancient times, he stated,” the role and position of al-Mustafa International University in the region is very crucial. Al-Mustafa University can provide communication with other scientific and academic centers in Tanzania; and good efforts have been made in this period.

Deputy of Al-Mustafa International University Hujjat al-Islam Khaleqpour explained the position of Al-Mustafa International University and the importance of its activity in the international arena and listed the scientific and educational capacities of this institution.
