Hawzah News Agency- the commemoration ceremony of the Iranian president martyr Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and his accompanying delegation was held in Moscow, the capital of Russia.
This ceremony was held on Friday, May 24 and was attended by the Iranian ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali, Sheikh Ravil Ainuddin, the head of the religious department of the Russian Muslims and the Council of Muftis of this country in the Grand Mosque of Moscow. In this ceremony, Shiites and Sunni Muslims gathered to pay their respects to the officials of the Islamic Republic who were martyred in the helicopter crash earlier in May.
In this ceremony, Sheikh Ravil Ainuddin expressed his sympathy with the people of Iran over this tragic incident and noted that the late President Raisi expected more unity and solidarity among Muslims.
The Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali, in turn, said that Russia stands by the Iranian nation after the tragic helicopter crash.
The Iranian ambassador emphasized that the magnificent funeral of Martyr President Raisi showed how much Iranians supported him.
It should be noted that a helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian crashed in a dense forest area in East Azerbaijan on Sunday.
The helicopter's passengers, including Ebrahim Raisi, Hossein Amir-Abdullahian, Iran's East Azerbaijan Province Governor Malek Rahmati, and Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to East Azerbaijan Province, along with several other people were martyred in the incident.
