Hawzah News Agency- Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of the Iranian president and his companions, stating,” What I saw in him from the beginning of my acquaintance in 1970 and I bear witness is that he considered God's satisfaction in affairs, and I believe that martyrdom is the reward of these sincere services.”
The text of the Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani's condolence message is as follows:
In the name of God
To God we belong and to him we return
On the day of the blessed birth of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (peace be upon him), the news of the martyrdom of the respected president and his companions and the loss of those sincere servants of the revolution was a cause of deep sorrow and grief.
The late Martyr Hujjat al-Islam Ebrahim Raisi (may God bless him and grant him peace) spent his entire life with sincerity, piety, and humility in serving the people and the Islami revolution, and in this way, he was tireless in all fields, both in the judicial system and during the presidency of the government. The president acted honestly and what I saw in him from the beginning of my acquaintance in the 1970’s until today and I testify that he considered God's satisfaction in affairs and I believe that his martyrdom was the reward of this sincere service.
Undoubtedly, the dear nation of Iran is grateful for all those efforts. God willing, this path of service will continue with the attention of the Holy Infallible Imams (peace be upon them), especially Hazrat Baqiyat Allah al-Azam (PBUH) and the leadership of the Supreme Leader and the support of religious people, through the service providers.
I know it is necessary to honor the memory of East Azerbaijan Province’s Friday Imam, Hujjat al-Islam, Martyr Ale-Hashem, the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs, and other companions.
I also offer my condolences to Hazrat Wali Asr (PBUH) , the supreme leader of the revolution and the honorable nation of the Islamic Republic of Iran; I pray for the elevation of the ranks of the departed souls.
