Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Ali Khatami, the representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in Zanjan, said on Sunday, March 16 at the coordination meeting of the Quds Day march, "The people of Gaza are a symbol of standing against oppression, since they are currently in the most difficult conditions of life."

Emphasizing the need to support Palestine and the people of Gaza, he pointed to the brutal slaughter of the usurper Israel regime and said,” More than 70% of the martyrs in Gaza are infants, children and women.”

Hujjat al-Islam Khatami stated,” The upcoming Quds Day is of great significance since the people of Gaza require support and the march of this day should be held in a very grand manner with the maximum participation of the people.”

He went on to say that after the Al-Aqsa storm operation, the Supreme Leader of the Islami Revolution Imam Khamenei has mentioned the issue of Gaza in all his statements and speeches, even on Tree-planting Day, and stated,” Quds Day provides a great opportunity for the Islamic Republic of Iran to declare its support for the people of Gaza; Let the world hear the voice of their oppression.”

Hujjat al-Islam Khatami noted,” Palestine is the first issue of the Islamic world today, and the people of Iran will do their part and duty in this regard on Quds Day.
