Hawzah News Agency- a high-ranking delegation consisting of professors and students of Meshkat seminary of Qom visited Bayt al-hikmah of Iraq to learn about the nature of work in this ancient intellectual institution.

Muzaffar Al-Rabie, director of public relations and media of this institution, welcomed the said delegation and, while welcoming its members, explained the duties of Bayt al-hikmah and introduced its scientific and administrative departments to them. He also explained the nature of the research work, studies, seminars and conferences held in this institution.

In this meeting, he said,” We can organize joint scientific and intellectual works between Bayt al-hikmah and Meshkat seminary and sign a memorandum of understanding for scientific and research cooperation between the two institutions.

While getting to know the names of the members of the delegation consisting of professors and students of higher levels, he listened to a brief description of the most important works and achievements of Meshkat Seminary in Qom.

The said delegation visited the departments of Bayt al-Hikmah including, seminar halls and permanent book exhibition in this institution.

It should be noted that Bayt al-Hikmah or the House of Wisdom, a library and translation institute established in Abbasid-era Baghdad, Iraq.
