The vice president of international affairs of the office of Islamic studies and seminary communications of the National Center for Cyberspace said,” Google has made a huge investment in artificial intelligence.”

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Chegini, Deputy of International Affairs of the Office of Islamic Studies and Communications of the National Center for Cyberspace was a keynote speaker during an event at the seasonal school "Government based on wisdom in the era of artificial intelligence" organized by the Office of Islamic Studies and Communications of the National Center for Cyberspace which was attended by the professors from the seminary and university held in Imam Kazem seminary school.

Hujjat al-Islam Chegini talked about the future research of governance in the era of artificial intelligence,” the history of artificial intelligence dates back to seventy years ago and it was in such a way that a machine could do the work of a human. Alan Turing, a mathematician and computer scientist, predicted in the middle of the 20th century that in the future, it will be very difficult to distinguish between humans and artificial intelligence.”

He continued,” Artificial intelligence has been progressing in recent years and now Google has made a huge investment in this field. One of the current examples of artificial intelligence, which is now being talked about a lot, is Chat GPT, which countries such as China and Russia and companies such as Microsoft have provided their own versions of this type of artificial intelligence. Now words about the future of artificial intelligence governance are heard in various circles and in the future the Internet will penetrate all things, the power of global governments will decrease because the dominance of the Internet will increase, and it will be difficult or in other words impossible to create restrictions and filtering.”

The Vice President of International Affairs of the Office of Islamic Studies and Seminary Communications of the National Cyberspace Center continued,” A future with artificial intelligence has challenges and advantages that have nothing to do with the Hollywood images of AI; this technology can also be used to further Iranian-Islamic purposes.”
