Hawzah News Agency- The head of the International Affairs Department of Lady Masuma (PBUH) Shrine Kamal Soraya Ardakani presented a report on to the 6-month activity of the cyber space and the tourism department of the International Affairs Department of Lady Masuma Holy Shrine in Qom and stated,” during the last 6 months, as many as 2,475 tourists from 57 different countries and 38,140 pilgrims from Arab, Urdu and Azeri speaking countries attended the Holy Shrine.”

“A large number of pilgrims attend the holy shrine individually or in groups without referring to the International Affairs Office, these people are not included in the above-mentioned statistics.” He said.

The head of the International Affairs Department of Lady Masuma (PBUH) Shrine added,” Since the beginning of this year, 157 special guests with accompanying delegations from 16 countries, including ambassadors, ministers, Sunni scholars, professors and presidents of universities, Christian priests, and cultural activists have visited Lady Masuma Shrine on different occasions.”

He elaborated on the media activity and cyber space among the other activities of the International Affairs Department of the Holy Shrine of Lady Masuma and said,” since the beginning of this year, 148 media programs in 7 languages including, Urdu, Arabic, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Thai have been produced in this department.”

Soraya Ardakani concluded his report by saying,” Also, 279 live broadcasts in the form of religious ceremonies and vicarious pilgrimages in 4 languages including Arabic, Urdu, English and Thai, have been aired from the Holy Shrine for social, satellite and international networks during the past 6 months.”
