Imam Reza's Scientific Character neglected

Grand Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani said during a meeting in Qom that one of the important aspects of Imam Reza’s (PBUH) life that is most neglected is his scientific position among scholars. The deep debates and issues raised by Imam Reza (PBUH) in various assemblies and situations during his life must be properly explained in the academic community.

Hawzah News Agency- Grand Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani in a speech on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (PBUH) in Qom on Sunday June 11 said, ‘The Shia Imams (PBUH) are all considered as the doors to fulfilling people’s needs and their blessings have always included Shia Muslims and their lovers, but among all Shia Imams, Imam Reza and Imam al-Asr (PBUT) have a special position.

This Shia source of emulation Ayatollah Shobeiri further added, ‘The miracles of Imam Reza (PBUH) are certain and many people have been blessed by his holiness at different times.’

He stated, one of the important aspects of Imam Reza’s (PBUH) life that has been neglected is his scientific position. These deep debates and issues raised by the Imam in various assemblies and situations must be properly explained in the scientific community.

Senior scholar Grand Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani concluded, ‘His kindness and generous behavior are also among the issues that should be addressed. Our society needs to recognize these patterns of behavior for a better and happier life.
