Top Shia sources of emulation including Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, Safi Golpaygani, Nouri Hamedani ,and Jafar Sobhani have responded to a religious inquiry in 2016 on the efforts of one of the Arabic-based television channels based in Britain, to divide Muslims and help produce and broadcast the film "Dooms Day" which has already been proposed under the name “Lady of Heaven”. As you can see, a British-based Arab television channel has been raising millions of pounds from the world's Shia Muslims for the past few months to make a feature film called "Dooms Day". The director of this channel, who has a long history of insulting the sanctities of the Sunni Muslims, states the purpose of making this film as follows: "This film, which will be produced by the most prominent Western directors and artists, will explain the life of Lady Fatima Zahra (PBUH) Especially in the period after the death of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The people of the world will see for the first time in this film how the first caliph and his companions attack Lady Fatima’s house and violate her sanctity! This film will destroy the mythical character of the caliphs (Sheikhs). It will also portray the difference between true Islam and deviant Islam (i.e. Saqifah Islam). We have sworn that we will take revenge on Lady Fatima Zahra (PBUH)! »

I have repeatedly reminded that the Shia and the lovers of the Ahlul Bayt (PBUT) should always be careful that their actions strengthen the religion of Islam and promote the enlightening teachings of the Holy Qur'an and Ahlul Bayt (PBUT), and observe the requirements of time and place. Shia Muslims should avoid acts that result in insults and disrespect to Islam and religion, such acts cause several oppressed Shia Muslims to be injured or martyred by the enemies of Islam, and some are displaced from their homes.
For this reason, Shia believers should be very careful and beware of any activity such as filmmaking, etc. that has such negative consequences.
And hold fast to the Bond of Allah, together, and do not scatter. (3:103)
