Hawzah News Agency – Following the recent crimes of the Zionists in the occupied territories, and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly issued a statement.
The statement is as follows:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
“Immaculate is He who carried His servant on a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque whose environs We have blessed, that We might show him some of Our signs.” (Holy Quran, Sura Al-Isra, Verse: 1)
Ramadan is a month in which the Muslims of the world pay more attention to mosques, worship and recitation of the Quran and supplications. Believers in other religions also respect the Muslims’ commitment to religious rites this month, and even some of them fast like Muslims.
But the criminal Zionist regime, which, in addition to turning away from divine commands, has no familiarity with humanity and compassion, desecrates one of the holiest religious sites in the world every year during this month by usurping settlers.
Holy Quds is sacred not only to Muslims but also to followers of other Abrahamic religions, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as the first qibla of Muslims and the place of Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), shines like a jewel in that holy city.
How does the usurping Zionist regime desecrate the place where the angels descend, and not only are the Islamic governments not condemning it, but some Arab leaders are still seeking to normalize relations with this cancerous tumor?
The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, as an international organization in which hundreds of elites of the Islamic world are members, condemns the recent events in Al-Aqsa Mosque and expresses its full support for the oppressed and resilient people of Palestine.
The Assembly also calls on its members, as well as other important figures in the religions, scholars and thinkers of Islamic countries, world libertarians, human rights and peace organizations, to condemn the oppression of the occupiers and defend the sanctity of the holy sites and support the defenseless people of Palestine.
Undoubtedly, the destiny of resistance is victory, and the oppression and transgression doomed to painful divine punishment.
تِلْكَ الدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوًّا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فَسَادًا ۚ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
“That Home of the Hereafter We shall give to those who intend not high-handedness or mischief on earth: and the end is (best) for the righteous.” (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Qasas, Verse: 83)
