Hawzah News Agency –A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that it has successfully treated a young man in his twenties who suffers from a torn cruciate ligament in his right knee, using the minimally invasive endoscopic technique.
"Our medical team succeeded in repairing the cruciate ligament in the right knee of a 21-year-old patient," said the Lebanese specialist in orthopedics, fractures and joints at the hospital; Dr. Tony Eid, noting that "the operation was performed using a technique that allows an early and safe return to movement."
Dr.Eid explained, "The patient was suffering from pain, instability in the knee and difficulty of walking," noting that "through the examination and the MRI, it was found that he had a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee."
