Hawzah News Agency - A 28-year-old Dusun man embraced Islam during a ceremony at the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Belait District branch at Jalan Maulana , in the presence of Assistant Head of the Dakwah Unit Ustazah Hajah Salimah binti Haji Hassan.

Hillary bin Bujang has taken on the name Muhammad Syahmi bin Abdullah Bujang.

He received a gift to mark the occasion, before the ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat recitation.

Nine have embraced Islam since the start of the year, while last year saw a total of 78 conversions.

To guide new converts, the centre frequently holds religious courses including a 10-day Introduction Guidance Course, 14-day Basic Guidance Course, as well as Advance Guidance Courses 1 and 2.
