Hawzah News Agency - (Tokyo - Japan) - By cooperation of the Iranian Cultural Mission in Tokyo, the second online meeting of the "Quds and Human Rights" was held on May 26 in support of the oppressed Palestinians and liberation of the Holy Quds.

According to Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), in a joint effort by Iranian Cultural Mission in Tokyo, the Razavi Holy Shrine (Astan Quds Razavi) and representative office of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in Mashhad, an online expert meeting was held in the Razavi Holy Shrine through the zoom cyberspace for the Japanese audience.

University professor and expert on international affairs, Mojtaba Rahmandost, Manager of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in the Holy city of Mashhad, Hojatoleslam Ali Bagheri and Iranian Cultural Attaché to Tokyo, Hussein Divsalar took part in this meeting and spook about the Palestine and the Holy Quds.

In his opening remarks, Iranian Cultural Attaché to Tokyo, thanked officials of the Astan Quds Razavi and the Representative Office of the ICRO in the holy city of Mashhad for their cooperation in holding the meeting and said the Quds Day is the eternal legacy of the Great Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini adding that the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran by this precious initiative gave shape not only to thinking and ideas within the Islamic World but world freedom lovers and leaders and made it possible that 72-years of oppression and tyranny against the Palestinian people not to be put into oblivion and the path to be paved for upholding the universal support for the Palestinian nation.

He said the important point is that supporting Palestine is not limited to governments and nations or the Islamic Ummah but leaders and freedom loving people have always backed the aspirations of the Palestinians and liberation of the Holy Quds and in numerous occasions several resolutions have been passed by the Security Council, and UN General Assembly as well as other regional and international organizations, although such resolutions and statements had so far not been effective in restoring the undeniable rights of the Palestinian people.

Then the Head of the Representative Office of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Hojatoleslam Bagheri for his part said the great Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini(RA) on the early days of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in order to make the world community aware about the plight of the Palestinian people, designated the last Friday of the holy month pf Ramadan as the Quds Day in order to galvanize the backing of world community for the cause of the Palestinians and liberation of the Holy Quds. .
