Hawzah News Agency (Karbala, Iraq) – Simultaneously with birth anniversary of Lady Fatima (as) a ceremony was held in the office of senior Iraqi cleric Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Taqi Modarresi in the city of Karbala attended by numerous seminary scholars and students from the seminary of Karbala.

Speaking on the occasion of Lady Fatima’s (as) auspicious birth anniversary, Shia cleric Ayatollah Modarresi remarked, “This noble lady is considered as the pillar of Prophet Muhammad’s (as) house as Allah almighty mentions name of Lady Fatima (as) as the first person in Hadith Kasa; this goes to prove the eminent status of Lady Fatima (as) at the side of Allah almighty.”

Elaborating on the great character of Lady Fatima (as), Ayatollah Modarresi urged adherence to the doctrine of Lady Fatima (as) saying, “This means that one has to completely follow her teachings, advices as well as the lifestyle of Ahlulbayt (as).”

 The Iraqi scholar further advised clerics to carry out their religious duty to educate the Muslim community reiterating that mosques serve as a great place for promoting valuable Islamic teachings.
