Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – In a meeting with Iran's Defense Minister Major General Hatami on Thursday in Qom, Friday Prayer Leader of Qom Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Muhammad Saeedi asserted, "It's such an honor for the people of Qom to meet with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei on the occasion of January 9 Uprising which marks the anniversary of popular demonstrations in Qom during Shah's time.

Reiterating that the doctrine of Iranian Islamic Revolution is distinct from the enemies' approaches, Hujjat al-Islam Saeedi added, "The enemy is afraid of the fact that Iran's arms forces are constantly developing without any outside help."

"Some reactionary governments in the region sign the biggest arms deals with US administration while they know that such weapons won't do them much help."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Qom further noted, "The Islamic Republic is standing strong; Iran, by relying on its own internal power and the cooperation of some Islamic countries, has managed to neutralize US' conspiracies in the region and make them leave different countries."

Asserting that recent victories of the Islamic Resistance in the region paves the way for the reappearance of Imam al-Asr (as), Hujjat al-Islam Saeedi concluded, "We really hope to reach our desired results with the grace of Imam al-Asr (as), the guidelines of Iran's supreme leader as well as popular support."
