Hawzah News Agency-Hujjat al-Islam Saeedi also referred to Iran’s 8 years of sacred defense and added,” During the last 200 years’ enemy attacks to Iranian lands, each time some parts of the country were lost during the wars, but the only exception was Iran-Iraq war under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) and with the sacrifices of brave Iranian soldiers during which the enemy could not even get an inch of Iranian territory;   

Elsewhere in his remarks he added, “Wherever there are Shia sources of emulation as well as the guardianship of a jurist, the people there would grow to be free men and women with the spirit of sacrifice and martyrdom. That’s why we’re blessed with current Iranian leadership by Grand Ayatollah Khamenei and it’s due to his wisdom that our country is safe and secure,”
