Hawzah News Agency (Qazvin, Iran) – Speaking at a meeting with a group of seminary students who are to attend Arbaeen Walk this year, seminary lecturer Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mortadha Fatemiyan asserted, "The topmost goal of Arbaeen pilgrimage is to strengthen  unity and integrity among Muslims. This holy event promotes kindness, enthusiasm and friendship within Muslim community; therefore, we must appreciate this great opportunity and do our best to preserve it."

The lecturer at Seminary of Qazvin further added, "Today, millions of Ahlubayt's (as) lovers from around the world whose lives have been touched by the teachings of Imam Hussain (as), with different religions and beliefs, from every walk of life attend Arbaeen walk and pay their respect to Imam Hussain (as)."

"The history has never seen such a great pilgrimage as Arbaeen Walk; this is truly a manifestation of the unity within Islamic world resulted from victory of the Islamic Revolution under the leadership of late Imam Khomeini (ra)." he added.

The Shia cleric also highlighted the spiritual aspects of Arbaeen pilgrimage saying, "According to Islamic narrations, the main purpose of this pilgrimage is to promote one's virtues and to attend to spiritual aspects of this journey."
