Hawzah News Agency (London, UK) - Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Murtadha Kashmiri, representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani in the UK made some remarks on the great character of Imam Ali (as) during a ceremony held to mark the first night of Qadr in London, UK.

He asserted, “What is there to say about this noble Imam and his significant role after the demise of Prophet Muhammad (sawa); Imam Ali (as) dedicated his whole life to promote Islam and help Muslims, he received his greatest badge of honor during his life when prophet Muhammad (sawa) praised him the night before Battle of Khaybar; The prophet said, “Tomorrow, I will hand our flag to the man who is devoted to his God and Prophet, Allah and his prophet like him as well, he’s the one who fights battles courageously and never yields.”

Representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani further added, “Ali (as) is unknown to the world, therefore we are not able to compare him to anyone else since the greatness of Ali’s (as) character lies in his unyielding love and support for Allah and Prophet Muhammad (sawa).”

“One of the rights of Imam Ali (as) upon us is to study his life and to get to know him in order to follow his guidelines since Imam Ali (as) is superior to all religions and faiths. “ Hujjat al-Islam Kashmiri concluded.
