Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – The conference was held on Wednesday, May 24 in Qom's Daroshafa seminary school and was attended by several students and seminary figures. During the event, the organizers commemorated the scientific achievements of martyred Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Baqir Sadr who was a well-known theologian and Muslim scholar.
At the beginning of the meeting, Grand Ayatollah Noori Hamedani's statement to the conference was read to the audience.
"Throughout history, the holy seminary schools have introduced great scholars and prominent figures to the Islamic world who have written excellent books and publications." His statement read.
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Chairman of the World Forum for proximity of Islamic Schools Of Thought, was a keynote speaker of the event; during his speech, he stressed the importance of Imamate according to Islamic texts and added that the concept of Imamate has been derived from Quran.
At the end, the final resolution was read and the website of the conference was unveiled.
