Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – At the midst of Al Khalifah's cruel measures against Bahraini Shia citizens, people of al-Diraz region in Bahraini joined a sit-in outside Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qassim's house. They have also asked all Bahraini citizens to take to the streets and defend Shia Muslims in the face of the worst ever oppression against Bahraini Shias in history.

Shaykh Abdullah al-Daqaq, Ayatollah Qassim's representative in Iran, had an interview with Hawzah News in which he warned the Bahraini court in case they issue any verdict against Shaykh Isa Qassim; "Any verdict issued against Ayatollah Qassim will end in the overthrow of al Khalifah regime, the consequences of such verdict will be dire and much different than the Bahraini Shias' previous measures." He said.

Ayatollah Qassim's representative in Iran also referred to the proposal made by the Iranian officials at the United Nations' human rights committee to invite all Bahraini sides to engage in negotiations and added, "Saudi Arabia, due to its hostility towards Iran, will never accept Iran's invitation to such negotiations in order to come up with a solution to Bahrain's conditions."

"Any arbitrary measure against our leader, Shaykh Isa Qassim, will ignite a fire that will burn down Al Khalifah regime." Shaykh al-Daqaq concluded.
