Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – The Qur’an is the very word of God; a complete record of the exact words revealed by Almighty God through the Archangel Gabriel to His Last Messenger. This holy book is not just a torch of guidance for afterlife, and if you look at it close enough, you would find important messages for living in this life as well.

Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day you need to make positive changes in your lives. God is a God of the now, and whatever area He may be dealing with you in, start to do it now. That is the only way you are going to experience His abundant life.
You may wonder why you are not happy and fulfilled. Maybe it is because you are not doing what you known you should be doing. You keep pushing down what God is bringing up. Understand that Almighty God will not force you to live happily. He has given you free will. He says, “Indeed we have guided him to the way, be he grateful or ungrateful.” (Qur’an; 76:3)
Every day, you must choose to listen to your conscience, to be good to people, to resist temptation. It is an ongoing process. Human nature always wants to put it off, to do it later. That is what you do many times; “we will take care of it next month, but not right now.” Next month rolls around, and you say, “Oh, God, I am going to deal with that, but let me do it a little bit later.” Before you know it, you have put something off for a year, five years, even ten years.
Notice what happens when you procrastinate. If you are not happy today, and you are working all the time, but you cannot seem to get ahead, you need to consider your ways. When you put off what you know you should be doing, it is as you are trying to fill up a bag that has holes in it. Start doing what God tells you to do right now. Do not make excuses. Do not look for a more convenient time. Just rise up and do it. I give you just a single advice: that you rise up for God’s sake, in twos, or individually. (Qur’an; 34:46)
Remember, good intentions are not the same as obedience. Not equal to others are those of you who spent and fought before the victory. They are greater in rank than those who have spent and fought afterwards. (Qur’an; 57:10)
If Almighty God is speaking to you about areas you have been putting off, do not regard that as condemnation. God is trying to take you to a higher level. If you will do your part and be quick to obey, you will not fall into the procrastination trap; you will not place your treasure in a bag with holes in it. God wants to do His part; it is time for you to do yours. Do it now!
