Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Shaikh Hussein al-Daihi had an exclusive interview with Hawzah News in which he thanked the Iranian Islamic seminaries as well as Muslim scholars for supporting the Bahraini revolution adding, "The Shia sources of emulation, religious scholars and the Islamic seminaries have always voiced their unwavering support for the Bahraini citizens who are being brutally oppressed by the Al Khalifah regime; Iranian Islamic seminaries are regarded as the greatest supporter of the Bahraini revolution."
"Throughout all these years since the beginning of the Bahraini uprisings, the Shia sources of emulation have stood by the people of Bahrain and slammed Al Khalifah atrocities; they have also voiced their solidarity with the Bahraini people to realize their legitimate demands and encouraged them to go forward with their efforts."
The deputy secretary general of al-Wefaq National Islamic Society further pointed out that Iranian clerics' sit-ins to show solidarity with Ayatollah Shaikh Isa Qasim have been very effective and added, "Such sit-ins and protests serve as a means to directly support the Bahraini people and they most certainly uplift Bahrainis' spirits to fight for their demands."
