Ayatollah Khamenei & Finland President

Ayatollah Khamenei, Leader of the Revolution, in a meeting with the President of Finland on Wednesday afternoon, October 26, stressed that: Combating terrorism requires resolute determination among all those who have influence over international powers; global intellectuals, states and noble individuals of the world should ponder over a solution to resolve the dilemma and act upon it.

Hawzah News Agency-He added: Terrorism is not only limited to terrorist acts by unofficial groups; the mass annihilation of people by some states, like Saudi’s attack on mourning ceremonies in Yemen which left hundreds dead and injured, is the worst type of terrorism; after one year and seven months, since the attacks, not one shred of evidence indicates that serious effort was made to combat these attacks.

Ayatollah Khamenei slammed stances taken by the current UN Secretary General adding the following statement: The Secretary General of the UN has openly admitted, “Since the organization depends on the Saudi regime's money, it is impossible to condemn the Saudi’s slaughter of Yemeni children.” This is indicative of the deplorable status of morality among the international politicians and we hope the next Secretary General can protect the independence of their organization.

The Leader of the Revolution described Iran's proposal on a solution to resolve the Syrian crisis as logical and based it on favoring the state and the nation's interest, by upholding, “The U.S. and some other countries insist on changing the government, but to end the war the initiators and the warmongers must be exposed.”
