Hawzah News Agency-The member of Seminary Teachers' Society in Qom said ISIS is the offspring of Wahhabism and referred to it as one of the adversaries' plots against True Islam, he added, "Harsh Wahhabism has denied those Quranic verses promoting social harmony and friendship, moreover they have no respect for the proper methods of inviting people to Islam and are only trying to depict Islam in a cruel way.  

Speaking at a meeting with Islamic preachers in Southern Iranian provinces, he then made some remarks regarding the anniversary of destruction of tomb of Imam's in Jannat Al-Baqi and said, "After taking control over Medina, Wahhabis went on to destroy Al-Baqi cemetery, they also planned to destroy tombs of other prominent Islamic figures in Mecca and so they did,"

"If we were to compare those incidents with present-era issues, we would notice a plot which links Wahhabi and ISIS's doctrine, these two groups plan to destroy Islam,"

Head of the 'Jurisprudential Center of Infallible Imams' further added, "Wahhabis are not just an anti-Shia group; rather they are enemies of Sunnis and Islam in general, their doctrine has nothing to do with true Islamic teachings,"

Stating  that we must be cautious of enemies' plots and threats, the seminary lecturer asserted, "Taliban and ISIS are the examples of such corrupt doctrine, when the time comes and ISIS' expiration date is over, Islam's adversaries will embark on a new plot and that's why we must always be fully alert against their vicious plans,"

"Sadly enough, misinterpretation of Quran have caused so much division in such groups and as a result these barbaric groups have been established. When contemplation on Quran and recourse to Ahl-ul-Bayt's doctrine is lost then such problems will rise,"

Ayatollah Fazel reiterated, "Our enemies used to insist on publishing a revised version of Quran in which verses related to Jihad were deleted, but now the cruel Wahhabis have removed Quranic verses related to social harmony and peace and are propagating a violent version of Islam,"

"All Shias including those compassionate followers of Ahl-ul-Bayt's doctrine living adjacent to Iranian borders who are also regarded as frontiers of Ahl-ul-Bayt's doctrine must appreciate this school of thought and work to promote their knowledge on a daily basis, since our great Marjas, after studying religion for as long as 70 years, say they've learned only a drop of the ocean of Ahl-ul-Bayt's knowledge throughout their lives," Ayatollah Fazel concluded.
