The holy city of Najaf Ashraf is hosting the International Congress in honor of Grand Ayatollah Mirza Mohammad Hossein Naeini, one of the most influential jurists and political thinkers of the modern Islamic world. The event, organized by the Holy Alawi Shrine in cooperation with the Seminary, brought together prominent scholars, seminary figures, and representatives of the holy shrines from Iraq, Iran, and across the region.
Hawzah News Agency- Held inside the illuminated precincts of the Alawi Shrine, the congress featured scholarly addresses, reflections on Mirza Naeini’s jurisprudential and political legacy, and the unveiling of a newly compiled 40-volume collection of his works. Delegates from Qom, Mashhad, Najaf, and Karbala attended the ceremony, alongside university professors, researchers, and experts in Islamic studies.
