On the occasion of the first decade of Muharram, the Shiites of Herat, Afghanistan hold mourning ceremonies in the mosques. Muhammadiyah Jaghara Grand Mosque, Musa ibn Jafar Mosque, Saqlain Jibril Herat Educational and Quranic Complex are among the places where the Afghan Shias mourn for Imam Hussain during these days.
