Hawzah News Agency- the scientific pre-conference of the International Conference on Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in Qom.
The pre-conference, attended by seminary and academic figures, featured addresses by Hojatoleslam Reza Ramezani, Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought; Sheikh Hussein al-Ma'touq, Kuwaiti member of the Forum's Supreme Council; Hojatoleslam Sheikh Ahmad al-Najdi, Hezbollah's representative in Qom; Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Shariatmadar, former Iranian cultural attaché to Lebanon; and Hojatoleslam Mohammad Hassan Zamani, adviser to the head of Iran's seminary seminaries. The speakers examined lesser-known dimensions of Martyr Nasrallah's personality from the perspectives of the jurisprudence of resistance, philosophy, strategic management, and adherence to Velayat-e Faqih.
'Resistance Is Synonymous with Mercy'
Hojatoleslam Ramezani noted that Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei used the term "school" for two figures and the term "phenomenon" for two others—Martyr Qasem Soleimani and Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
The Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought emphasized that Martyr Nasrallah laid the foundations for a civilizational movement, adding: "The jurisprudence of resistance in Martyr Nasrallah's experience was a governance technology with jurisprudential, ethical, strategic, and organizational layers."
He added: "Resistance in his thought was not merely a military outlook; it found meaning in people's lives and was coupled with justice-centeredness and confidence-building."
'Secret of Victories Lies in Obedience to Imam Khamenei'
Sheikh al-Ma'touq, highlighting Martyr Nasrallah's scholarly dimensions, stated: "He never abandoned his scholarly and seminary sessions and attended more than 500 advanced jurisprudence (Kharej Fiqh) lessons taught by Imam Khamenei."
The member of the Forum's Supreme Council, noting three figures who shaped Martyr Nasrallah's intellectual formation—Martyr Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, Imam Khomeini, and Imam Khamenei—emphasized: "At a conference in 2000, Martyr Nasrallah deliberately kissed Imam Khamenei's hand to make everyone understand that the secret of all victories lies in obedience to Velayat-e Faqih."
'Turning Shiites from a Point of Weakness into a Peak of Power'
Hojatoleslam al-Najdi, Hezbollah's representative in Qom, emphasized Sayyed al-Resistance's pivotal role in transforming Lebanon's Shia community, saying: "Through jihadi training and insight-building, Martyr Nasrallah transformed the Shiites from a point of weakness into a major regional power pole."
Referring to the motto "We are not servants of America and Israel; we are masters of the Velayat," he stated: "Our answer to Trump is the same as Hazrat Zainab's (peace be upon her) answer in Karbala, who said: 'These are a people upon whom the killer has been imposed.'"
'Martyr Nasrallah Was an Institution-Builder and Forward-Looking Leader'
Iran's former cultural attaché to Lebanon focused on Martyr Nasrallah's unique managerial qualities, stating: "Unlike previous Hezbollah secretaries-general, Martyr Nasrallah was an institution-building, pragmatic leader who acted on the basis of future studies."
Referring to Martyr Nasrallah's compilation of "Fiqh of Organization" based on Imam Khamenei's fatwas, he noted: "He had firm belief in duty-centeredness before the Velayat and believed that if something passes through the leadership, even without an explicit order, it is obligatory upon us to act."
'Sacrificing Everything for the Leader of the Time'
Hojatoleslam Mohammad Hassan Zamani, adviser to the head of Iran's seminaries, examined the ten pillars of Sayyed al-Resistance's adherence to Velayat, stating: "Imam Khamenei used the term 'school' only for two figures: Martyr Qasem Soleimani and Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah."
Referring to Martyr Nasrallah's prayer for the Leader of the Revolution, he stated: "In a television interview, he said: 'Every day I ask God to take the rest of my life and my family's life all at once and add it to the life of the dear Leader of the Revolution.' This was the ultimate expression of his love and devotion to the Leader of the Revolution."

Hojatoleslam Eskandari, secretary of the Amna al-Rusul Congress, explained the process of organizing the conference honoring Martyr Nasrallah's scholarly status, stating: "In the scientific council comprising seminary and academic institutions, seven figures were selected from a list of 100 scholars and dignitaries to hold the congress, with Martyr of Resistance Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah among the priorities."
