Hawzah News Agency- Mousavi urged the Islamic world to strengthen its unity and solidarity by avoiding disputes and mutual confrontations, and to pursue dialogue, diplomacy, and mutual respect to resolve conflicts.
The Kashmiri cleric also warned that escalating tensions among Islamic countries serve the interests of powers seeking to advance their own agendas in the region.
He added that ongoing tensions and confrontations among Islamic countries and various groups weaken the collective power of the Islamic Ummah and create opportunities for powers such as the US and the Israeli regime to exploit existing divisions in pursuit of their strategic interests in the region.
Referring to the high status of Mecca and Medina among Muslims, the head of the Shia Religious Association of Jammu and Kashmir emphasized that Islamic holy sites have always been respected by the Islamic Ummah and that sensitive issues related to them must be addressed with precision and responsibility.
He added that to prevent harm to religious sentiments and the spread of divisions among Muslims, the publication of unconfirmed information and inflammatory statements about sensitive religious issues must be avoided.
Mousavi also called on leaders of Islamic countries, religious scholars, and media to play a constructive role in establishing peace and stability in the region by confronting sectarian tensions and refraining from fueling divisions.
He stated: "War and confrontation are not solutions to problems; rather, dialogue, diplomacy, and mutual respect pave the way for lasting peace."
In conclusion, the head of the Shia Religious Association of Jammu and Kashmir called on all Islamic countries and Muslim nations to strengthen their unity and solidarity by rising above differences and to make serious, coordinated efforts to protect the common interests of the Islamic world.
