Hawzah News Agency- The event was attended by local officials, public figures, religious scholars, families of the martyrs, and a gathering of residents.Fadlallah said Lebanon currently does not have a state that controls its own decisions, but rather one that is directed from abroad.
He added that American-Israeli demands ultimately aim to undermine the country because they will not be able to break the resistance or weaken the will of the Lebanese people. He affirmed that “this resistance is this people,” adding that they represent more than half the country.“When we speak about the resistance community, we are not talking only about Shiite Muslims, but about a broader community,” he said. He added that although there is targeting even of religious identity and of everyone belonging to this respected sect, such targeting does not weaken them but instead increases their cohesion, unity, and steadfastness. He continued: “We are not confronting the state or its decisions.
Why insist on creating the conditions for internal confrontation?”He added: “We do not recognize the decisions taken against the resistance on March 2. Some had been trying to find solutions, but then certain officials in power acted as though they were being remotely controlled.”He referred to an incident in which a truck was stopped and its contents inspected. “They said the truck was transporting weapons. And what does that mean? It is natural for the resistance to transport weapons and for them to reach the front. As for how they are transported and by which route, that has its own procedures. Otherwise, how is the resistance supposed to prepare itself and equip its capabilities? How will it fight this enemy? Is it supposed to fight it with bags of potatoes? Fadlallah said that although the authorities had discovered something, this did not justify destabilizing the country or inciting people to such an extent, from certain official figures to political parties and forces.
He stressed that “all this misinformation and distortion will not be able to undermine our will.”He concluded by saying that the developments were linked to events across the region.
