Hawzah News Agency- Abubakr Khajamli, the Friday prayer leader of Negin Shahr in Golestan Province, spoke at the second international conference "The Mission of the Ummah of Muhammad (PBUH)" held on Friday, September 25, 2026, organized by the Qademoun World Assembly. Honoring the memory of the martyrs of recent wars, including the martyrs of the 12-day and 40-day wars, he said these conflicts, alongside financial and human losses, revealed the importance of putting Quranic recommendations into practice when facing war and crisis. He titled his remarks "The Role of Practicing Quranic Recommendations in the 40-Day War and the Victory of Islamic Iran and the Iranian Nation."
Referring to the martyred leader's emphasis on unity, Khajamli cited the verse "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided" (3:103), saying that in the martyred leader's view, unity was not merely a political or temporary tactic but one of the Islamic principles and a Quranic recommendation. He also cited the verse "The believers are but brothers" (49:10), adding that the emphasis on brotherhood among Muslims showed the depth of his view on Islamic unity — a unity that, he said, must be accompanied by standing firm against the enemy and kindness among believers.
The Friday prayer leader of Negin Shahr identified "popular power" as the second pillar, citing the verse "O Prophet, sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you of the believers" (8:64), stating that in the martyred leader's view, reliance on divine power alongside the presence and will of the people was a key factor in overcoming crises.
Khajamli said that during the recent war, the people, through their presence and steadfastness, acted upon Quranic recommendations and played an important role in what he called Iran's "victory" against the aggressors.
He listed "defense readiness" as the third important Quranic recommendation, citing the verse "And prepare against them whatever you are able of power" (8:60), saying the emphasis on strengthening defense capabilities was always a focus of the martyred leader.
Khajamli stated that Iran's missile and defense capabilities during the war, he said, sent a clear message to the attackers, and he described this readiness as the result of acting upon Quranic teachings.
Khajamli further cited the verse "O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah" (3:200), emphasizing the need for individual patience, collective steadfastness, and readiness against the enemy. He said the Iranian nation, despite more than 200 days since the start of the war, through its presence on the scene and steadfastness, was able, as he put it, to force the aggressors to retreat and achieve a "great victory."
In conclusion, the Friday prayer leader of Negin Shahr stressed that these teachings are not exclusive to Iran, and if Islamic countries also act upon Quranic recommendations regarding unity, readiness, patience, and resistance, they can, he said, achieve greater dignity and honor.
