Hawzah News Agency- the ceremony was organized by the Bilal Muslim Institute on Saturday at the Unity Hall in the Temeke district of Dar es Salaam.
The event aimed to remind Muslims of the importance of reflecting on the life, conduct, and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and using them as a guiding light for building better lives in both spiritual and social spheres.
It brought together a large number of believers from various regions, who honored the sacred occasion and familiarized themselves with the Prophet's message and teachings.
Among the religious scholars and figures present was Sheikh Abbas Ramadan Abbas, the acting Sheikh of the Dar es Salaam region, who delivered a keynote address as the special guest.
In his remarks, he urged the Islamic Ummah to abandon unconstructive habits and practices and to take steps toward positive change in their lifestyle, thinking, and social behavior.
He stressed that the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) must not remain mere words but must be reflected in the daily lives and actions of Muslims.
Sheikh Abbas also underscored the importance of preserving unity, brotherhood, and solidarity among Muslims, recalling the historic lesson of "Mu'akhat" — the bond of brotherhood the Prophet (PBUH) established between the Muhajirun (migrants) and the Ansar (helpers).
He explained that this historic event serves as a key example of Islam's emphasis on setting aside differences and building a society founded on love, cooperation, mutual assistance, and solidarity.
The Bilal Muslim Institute expressed its sincere gratitude to the special guest, religious scholars, dignitaries, and all the believers who participated in the ceremony.
The institute emphasized that the message of the event must not remain confined to the hall where it was held but must be put into practice in daily life to build a society filled with love, unity, and solidarity — and to lay a strong foundation for a better future for the Islamic Ummah.
