Hawzah News Agency- The exhibition was organized jointly by Al-Mustafa International University's Karachi branch and the Sharekat-ul-Hussain Mosque and Hussainiya, where the event was held. It attracted religious scholars, seminary students, university students and local residents.
The display featured a collection of Quranic manuscripts and artistic works created using thread in an intricate artistic technique by Shahnawaz Hussaini, an award-winning artist and gold medalist.
Organizers said the exhibition aimed to strengthen public engagement with the Holy Quran and introduce Quranic concepts and messages through art and creativity. Verses of the Quran and themes from supplications were presented in a distinct and appealing format to highlight the potential of Quranic art while fostering a deeper connection between various segments of society and Islamic teachings.

Professors, seminary and university students from Al-Mustafa International University Karachi, local residents and Quran enthusiasts visited the exhibition, acquainting themselves with alternative methods of presenting Quranic verses and supplications.

Educational session held alongside exhibition
Concurrent with the exhibition, an academic and educational session was held for male and female students of Al-Mustafa International University Karachi. Speakers elaborated on the various capacities of art in serving religious culture, stressing that conveying the concepts of the Holy Quran and traditional supplications through diverse scientific, artistic and educational methods can play a significant role in spreading Quranic knowledge among different segments of society.
Participants were also introduced to practical aspects of Quranic arts, with students shown examples of artistic techniques used in preparing Quranic manuscripts and works.
